Jenniffer Martin | Founder, Director of Operations & Client Support Services

Jenniffer manages Credence’s Client Support and Operations teams. Jenniffer and her team of legal and technology professionals work closely with clients to define specific data requirements and coordinate operations. As a hands on manager, Jenniffer’s focus is on ensuring Credence’s' E-Discovery and Document Management services, from collection through production, are delivered in a timely, defensible and cost-effective manner - managing staff, process and technology to achieve success for every client. Jenniffer is also a certified trainer in leading E-Discovery review tools Summation, Concordance and Catalyst and regularly conducts training sessions for attorneys and litigation support staff on the latest and best use of these essential tools.

Prior to founding Credence, Jenniffer had over two decades of litigation and law firm technology experience. Her most recent experience was as Regional Facility Manager for Esquire Litigation Services. Before that, Jenniffer was the Litigation Technology Manager for Akin, Gump and Regional Manager for Tearney & Tearney Court Reporting (now Legalink), where she worked on such notable cases as Exxon Valdez and Lincoln Savings and Loan.

As a former Senior Litigation Paralegal, Jenniffer understands the challenges and pitfalls of managing complex document and E-Discovery cases. Accordingly, when Jenniffer founded Credence, her goal was to create a company that would be thought of by the legal community as a trusted and reliable part of that process – as she often says, “another member of your litigation support team.” Today, after handling thousands of complex discovery and document cases for most of the region’s top litigation firms, Jenniffer is most proud of achieving that hard earned goal.

Dennis Hall III | Founder, Director of Client Development & Partner Relationships

Dennis oversees Credence’s Client Development, Forensic and Data Collection teams as well as manages the company’s strategic partner relationships. Dennis's team is comprised of former practicing legal professionals and technology experts who work closely with clients on a wide range of E-Discovery matters including data collection, review and production. Dennis’s team also works with clients to develop best practices and cost-saving strategies in matters involving processing and review of large amounts of electronic data. As a recognized local expert on E-Discovery and Forensic Data Collection issues, Dennis frequently provides CLE learning sessions for the Florida Bar and leading law firms throughout the area.

Prior to founding Credence, Dennis was General Manager for Corporate Services at Esquire Litigation Services. Early in his career Dennis was the Director of Sales for West Tennessee US LEC as well as General Manager for Advanced Telecom Group, where he was responsible for business development and operational implementation of technology for the company’s eastern region. Dennis earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with emphasis in Telecommunications from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN.

B. Ben Friedman J.D. | Vice President of Business Development

As Vice President of Business Development, Ben is responsible for strategic planning and managing operations related to growing and building Credence’s client base - with a special focus on delivering an exceptional client experience.

Ben comes to Credence with a wealth of experience. Not only is Ben a former litigator, he also has over ten years of executive level business development positions at leading legal technology companies; including Lexis-Nexis and RIA/Westlaw. At Credence, Ben’s business development activities includes helping clients improve their overall E-Discovery practices by proactively assessing their current E-Discovery processes and technologies with the goal of developing improvements that reduce cost, shorten time and mitigate business and legal risk.

Ben is also the author of Credence’s E-Discovery Newsletter and Best Practices Playbook and a featured speaker for Florida Bar E-Discovery CLEs and client-site learning sessions. Ben holds a J.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Law and an A.L.M degree from Harvard University.

Garrett Baken, CISA | Senior Forensic Analyst

In his role as Senior Forensic Analyst, Garrett is involved in all aspects of the services provided by the Forensics & Data Acquisition Department at Credence Corp. Garrett performs forensic collections as well as electronic discovery, forensic analysis, and litigation support services. Garrett is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

Prior to joining Credence, Garrett worked for two years as a Forensic Analyst with the Berenfeld, Spritzer, Shechter & Sheer Forensic Technology Group. In addition to Garrett’s expertise in computer forensics and electronic discovery, Garrett is an experienced network administrator and served for three and half years as IT Manager for the National Parkinson Foundation in Miami, FL. Garrett’s knowledge and experience proves invaluable in forensic collections and investigations in which he is involved. Garrett graduated from the State University of New York in Buffalo with cum laude honors.
